This training will teach you the essential inquiry skills required to be psychologically self-reliant. You will learn to rely on yourself to address common painful psychological states, resolve what's bothering you, and reach the insights you need to make sense of things in life.
The Training Experience
In this training, you will learn and practice the essential inquiry skills for restoring, enhancing and protecting your natural intelligence for making sense of things in life, which is the key to psychological self-reliance and well-being.
Over the course of the training you will learn and apply new concepts and skills to your life with the help of a software technology that helps support and accelerate the process of making sense of things.
By the end of the training, you should expect to have a clear understanding of the essential inquiry skills, the confidence to apply them to your life, and the tools and knowledge to restore and protect natural intelligence, make sense of anything in life on your own, and become fully psychologically self-reliant.

Module 1: Re-Learning to Listen to Yourself

Did you know that we are all born with certain senses that can guide us through the process of making sense of things in life, if we know how to listen to them?

Senses such as confusion, curiosity, aversion, and intuition are what infants use to make sense of a new world, and what scientists use to reach breakthroughs and historic discoveries. Yet, many of us have lost touch or learned to mistrust these essential senses.

You'll learn and practice how to use inquiry to re-engage with these senses and use them to help you navigate the process of making sense of things in your life.

Module 2: Transforming Challenging Mindsets

Our mind can easily get trapped in painful processes. We can get stuck in our head, stuck in emotional pain, stuck feeling distracted or scattered, and more. These mindsets block our ability to make sense of things in life.

There are hundreds of practices that can help you get out of these mindsets. But if you strip out everything except for the essentials, you get a simple set of inquiry practices that can break your mind out of painful and challenging mindsets.

You'll learn to apply these inquiry practices to rescue yourself from painful and challenging mindsets.

Module 3: Articulating What's Bothering You

How do you make sense of things when you aren’t sure what’s bothering you? When the contents of our mind, such as our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and sensations, are nebulous, fuzzy, or unclear, we need to find a way to work with that content until we can clearly articulate it for what it is.

Things that are bothering us, that don't add up, or that feel threatening, generally start out by presenting themselves to us in either a pre-verbal way, or in a way that is verbal but misconstrued, over-generalized, or cryptic.

You'll learn and practice the inquiry skills you need to quickly and efficiently articulate what's bothering you into a form that allows you to begin to make sense of it.

Module 4: Project Managing Your Mental Backlog

We all carry a mental backlog of things in our life that are unresolved or bothering us. Until we articulate and capture these things, our brain will continue to distract us and bother us.

Once we capture our backlog, we can then begin to start work on each item, and each time we make sense of something, the closer we get to becoming unbothered.

When we first create our backlog, we may find it overwhelming or hard to navigate.

You'll take your own mental backlog, then learn strategies for how to work through your backlog and avoid common pitfalls that waste time and keep you from making sense of things.

Module 5: Getting to the Heart of the Issue

You've articulated what you want to make sense of, now how do approach it? What's the best way to think about the issue or challenge? How do you break things down into the right pieces of the puzzle?

If you take the wrong approach to a topic you want to make sense of, you may never reach the insights you need. You can get stuck thinking about the problem the same way you've been thinking about it, and you need to find the right angle.

You'll learn and practice how to articulate issues, challenges, and problems into the most productive forms for quickly making sense of things.

Module 6: Inquiring for Insights and Clarity

Inquiry is an essential and powerful tool for making sense of things. But not all inquiry forms are good for you. Many forms include harmful aspects that lead you astray from what's best for you, and the world is full of them.

Insight-based inquiry forms are designed to safely support your mind towards reaching quality insights. There are only about 1,000 types of insight-based inquiry forms in natural language, and from these forms, you can access the inquiries you need to reach insights and make sense of anything in life.

You’ll learn and practice the skill of asking yourself insight-based inquiries around any topic in your life and how to identify and avoid harmful forms of inquiry.

Switching out of unproductive, circular, and painful thinking patterns to go from ruminating to meaning making.
Changing your relationship to your mind so that it can develop into a powerful co-pilot.
Finding the true source of whatever is bothering you and clearly articulate it into productive inquiries.
Noticing early warning signs of when your natural intelligence is being undermined so you can avoid situations and decisions that could hurt you.
Leveraging inquiry to access higher levels of cognition, reveal insights, and increase feelings of hopefulness, connection, purpose, safety, empowerment, and self-worth.
Overcoming the threats to natural intelligence and protecting yourself from people or things that can block your natural intelligence.
